In February, will begin assembling a series of Russian Ford Focus 2 (new)

Ford Focus 2 (new) will hold 100% of production, as well as a new model completely replaces the previous. 

Since mid-February, the Russian Ford plant near St. Petersburg to begin assembling an updated version of Ford Focus. This was reported by Interfax press-secretary of the company Ekaterina Kulinenko.  Ford Focus 2 (new) will hold 100% of production, as well as a new model completely replaces the previous. 

Also at the end of 2008 the factory will begin production of Ford Mondeo. 

In 2009, production capacity will be increased from 72 000 to 125 000 vehicles per year, of which 25 000 will be in proportion Mondeo, and the rest - Focus.
